Ros Guthrie

I am a UKCP registered Integrative psychotherapist in private practice based in Penge, South East London.I specialise in adult individual counselling and psychotherapy within either a brief or long term frame with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

I have practised in South East London for over seven years within local GP surgeries and agencies and have five years experience as helpline counsellor with SANE, and as a mental health advocate with Advocate for Mental Health. I have managed advocacy projects across London and now train and supervise mental health professionals in reflective practice, and clinical issues. I was a trauma psychotherapist within the Traumatic Stress Service at the Maudsley Hospital working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and survivors of childhood trauma; an area of particular interest.


I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and is registered with UKCP. I have extensive experience in providing effective counselling to those experiencing difficulty with:
